Our schools
Our courses and conferences are organised into schools, each focused on a specific area of clinical expertise. These schools bring together leading clinicians to deliver courses and conferences that combine evidence-based learning with practical insights.
Ophthalmology School
Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (MREH) is one of the UK’s leading centres for ophthalmic care, research, and education. Located in the heart of Manchester, our purpose-built facility combines over 200 years of pioneering eye care with cutting-edge treatments and personalised service.
Alongside delivering world-class clinical care, we offer specialist courses and conferences designed to advance knowledge and share best practice across all areas of ophthalmology. Our courses provide hands-on, practical learning while our conferences bring together experts and professionals to explore the latest innovations and research shaping the future of eye health.
Sexual Assault and Abuse Service (SAAS) School
The SAAS School delivers expert-led education for professionals working in sexual assault care. Based at Saint Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre - the first SARC established in the UK - our educational schemes combine clinical expertise, forensic best practice, and survivor-focused approaches.
We offer accredited courses, including the FMERSA programme for forensic and medical examinations, alongside annual conferences and free open mornings designed to share knowledge and raise standards across the sector. Each course is developed by specialists to ensure practical, evidence-based learning that supports excellence in care and response.
